Imran Khan of Tehrik Insaf was the center of attraction in Dallas this week unveiling his party political registration in the USA as a registered foreign Political party, in the aspiration to become a political party to reckon with; the mammoth of a Job of transforming Imran’s image from a social worker to a sustained leader, the Pakistani political scene besieged with the incessant influence of the Pakistani feudal leadership, the voice of a middle class lone ranger without the clout of the major stake holder in the Pakistani politics, the play cards reflected at the venue read, “Imran Khan Next Prime Minister Of Pakistan”. The premise of his speech was around such quotes by Charles Dickens, “that it was the best of times and worst of times” and the other quote from “Alice in the wonderland, “when you do not know where you are going every road takes you there”
Imran Khan lamented, trashed the present political set up and called it “kleptocracy”, rule of the corrupt and Incompetent, he went on to say that the present rulers of Pakistan are the ‘Mir Jaffer and Mir Sadiq” of present time. He touched the very cord of the attendees by condemning the disconnect of ruling elite of Pakistan with the common person.
